Ike at 5am Saturday

September 13, 2008 at 4:49 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

Ike has moved onshore and is now about 30 miles east of Houston moving North at 15 mph.

Winds are still near 90 mph near the center of the storm and in parts of Houston.

Conditions should slowly improve over the next 4 hours in Galveston.

In North TX, wind and rain could move in by late morning, especially SE of Dallas.

We’ll see tropical storm force winds this afternoon and evening in the metroplex, gust to 45mph.
