There is a slight risk of evening severe thunderstorms NW of the Metroplex today.

Low clouds this morning will break up by midday, and a breezy and warmer afternoon is in the cards for North Texas.

Thunderstorms will develop in SW OK this afternoon and move SE into North TX this evening.   These storms could be severe, with large hail and strong winds the main threats.

Tuesday and Wednesday will have waves of thunderstorms moving across North Texas, any of these could be severe.

By midday Thursday, most of the storms will move to our east and we’ll see sunshine returning.

The outlook for next weekend is terrific, with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s and full sunshine.
