Next Severe Weather Threat – Monday, St. Patrick’s Day

March 15, 2008 at 12:52 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

A cold front, dry line and strong upper level low will move across TX Monday evening.

Storms will likely develop to the west of North TX, then organize into a line and march eastward Monday evening and overnight.  These storms will likely be severe.

Right now, the main threats appear to be high winds and hail, but any storms that will be able to isolate or develop ahead of the line could produce tornadoes.

Storms should move out by early Tuesday, but we’ll keep a few non-severe showers in the forecast through early Wednesday.

As always, stay with NBC5 and nbc5i.com for your latest weather.
