There could be light snow falling in North Texas by early Thursday morning. Get up early if you want to see it!
There are two storm systems headed our way: cold air from the north, and low pressure from the west. Many times, this type of combination gives us a pretty good shot at seeing wintry precipitation, but this time, it looks like moisture will be very limited. That means only a bit of rain, and only a bit of flurries. The low pressure system will bring heavier rain to our south: in Waco, San Antonio, Austin…we will be on the fringes. If (and that’s a BIG “IF”) the low pressure tracks further north…toward the Metroplex, we could see more snow than just flurries! So, we’ll be watching the track and development of both storm systems very closely in the next few days. Stay tuned1
