Thursday Cold Front – Windy!! but beautiful

January 12, 2008 at 12:12 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

The strong north winds that blew in across North Texas on Thursday, blew out the haze and allowed for terrific visibility.

I was lucky enough to be flying on Thursday afternoon, and snapped this picture from over Weatherford:

Now, I added the yellow words, but you can see Downtown Dallas and Downtown Fort Worth from Weatherford, about 50 miles of visibility!
That’s the Naval Air Station/Lockheed-Martin in the foreground.
It was a beautiful day for flying, and as a bonus, I got some great barbeque at the Hard 8 in Stephenville.
