Oklahoma Ice Storm

I went to Mom’s house in Tulsa on Thursday-and spent a good part of the day helping her clean up her yard. She was without power starting Monday morning, and through Thursday, when we drove back to Dallas-there was still no power in her neighborhood.

When you step out of the car, all you hear is the sound of generators and chainsaws.

Tulsa looks like a freak giant windstorm hit, but only damaged the trees. The damage is incredible.

As you can see, the damage is severe, and as of this morning, the electricity providers in Oklahoma are calling this the worst power outage ever in that state.
