Record temps again!

Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend were certainly very cold and very rainy, with highs only in the low to mid 40s.

This weekend, we have another chance of rain, but its a much different system, and a much warmer one as well.

Sunday morning’s record warmest low is 63 degrees set back in 1993. It looks like at the coolest, we’ll only dip to near 66 or so, so recordbook, here we come.

As this system slides east tomorrow, another warm day is on tap for Sunday, with highs back into the mid 70s.

As of this point, no really cold air is building to move our way, so we’ll continue to delay the first freeze of the fall. According to the National Weather Service, only one time have we made it through December without a freeze, that was in 1972.
